Why choose Wintons?

Competitive remuneration & benefits

We believe that it is important to adequately compensate our people so that they feel supported and motivated. We do this by providing competitive remuneration, which is reviewed annually by our Remuneration Committee. Also, our discretionary benefits package currently includes, but is not limited to, optional participation in Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and pension schemes; season ticket loans; health assessments; free flu vaccinations; the option to buy additional annual leave; and access to a range of health and wellbeing support and resources.

Career Development

All colleagues participate in an annual performance review process designed to support them to achieve tailored career objectives, in line with the needs of our business. Moreover, Wintons conducts an annual succession planning review in order to ensure appropriate contingency measures are in place but also to continue identifying and coaching emerging talent across our business.

Learning & development

We offer a broad range of formal and technical training to support employees in their specific roles and to ensure that they are meeting any applicable regulatory and professional requirements. This includes providing support for short and long-term studies aligned with business needs; arranging workshops on topics including leadership techniques; presentation skills; and unconscious bias training. All employees are also given a personal LinkedIn Learning membership and have access to thousands of online training courses and webinars, both in the office or at home.

Health & wellbeing

Wintons believes that the health and wellbeing of our employees is paramount. In addition to offering optional private medical insurance and health assessments, a number of our employees are trained first aiders and mental health first aiders able to provide first line support to colleagues in need. All colleagues have access to a free 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and there are many other healthy initiatives that employees can opt into which promote an active, balanced lifestyle. These include, but are not limited to, participation in our Cycle to Work scheme, the weekly Wintons running club, subsidised professional massages, and taking part in our annual memorial tennis tournament.
